Systems Integration Engineer
CTG is seeking to fill a Systems Integration Engineer opening for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 2 years Duties: Serve as the primary owner for systems and device integration, ensuring high-quality design, development, and support of applications and interfaces. Develop and maintain integration workflows using Cloverleaf and Cerner Open Engine. Support system conversions, upgrades, and maintenance activities. Monitor and troubleshoot interface and system issues, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to align integration strategies with business needs. Participate in on-call rotations to support ISD customer service requirements. Create and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications and Visio diagrams. Skills: Proficiency in TCL, XLATE, and ModObj scripting. Strong understanding of HL7 messages (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, BAR). Knowledge of HIE standards (CCD, CDA, XDS) and HIPAA compliance. Expertise with Linux operating systems. Familiarity with Revenue Cycle/Business Office file formats (X12, 835, 837, 850). Strong troubleshooting and customer communication abilities. Skilled in documentation and process mapping. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in system integration, Cloverleaf, and Cerner Open Engine. 7+ years of hands-on experience with healthcare data exchange and integration standards. Proven background in clinical data management and relational database concepts. Experience with communication protocols including HTTP, TCP/IP, FTP, SFTP, and RS-232. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
