The Opportunity:

Work on a small team to develop, maintain, and improve existing software systems Execute the research, engineering, and development of solutions to support operational capabilitiesOptimize legacy operational software systems as necessary to meet continuously evolving cyber security requirementsApply system level knowledge (OS and hardware) to be able to diagnose issues and provide solutionsWork on infrastructure for our customer that provides pre-mission configuration management and post-mission data
workflows to support the war fighter.


Responsibilities:

Refine and enhance existing applications to best meet customer/operational requirementsDevelop and maintain user and administrative documentation to meet customer contract requirementsPeriodically travel onsite to integrate operational systems and updatesProfile, analyze, and optimize legacy software system, operating system, and security hardening requirements


Qualifications:

Required: 

Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field or other relevant experience5-7 years professional experience with DevSecOps, Systems Administration, and/or Systems ProvisioningMust be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceSolid Linux system and scripting experience with Python, Bash, and/or AnsibleBasic understanding of software, complex design concepts, patterns, tools and best practicesBasic understanding of virtualization and configuring hypervisor softwareBasic understanding of computer networking and common networking equipment

Desired:

Active TS/SCI Clearance

Some experience with a popular CI/CD system such as GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins, or CircleCI

Basic understanding of software, complex design concepts, distributed systems, networking, patterns, tools, and best
practices

Familiarity with device boot processes, such as BIOS, UEFI, and PXE boot capabilities

Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU virtualization

Familiarity with Metal-as-a-Service metasystems, such as OpenShift

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300 - 189,600 USD
