Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a **Systems Engineering Manager** for the Data Links & Tactical Communication Systems portfolio under Mission Systems C4I&A organization. This Manager will be leading a multidisciplinary team with all elements of the design process including system-level trades, requirements development, system architecture and design, performance assessment, integration and test, verification, validation, and support of fielded products. This position is based at our **Aguadilla, PR** location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as **hybrid** , with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. **What YOU will do:** + Manage a team of engineering professionals and cooperatively determine objectives and approaches to completing work. This responsibility requires surface knowledge of systems engineering and project engineering to be successful. + Sets objectives and guides team on execution/approach for achievement of result. + Understand and explain policies, practices, and procedures and may influence others. Also responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of work area. + Process, technical, or team problem solving. Problems and issues faced are general and may require understanding of broader set of issues. Problems may be difficult and involve consideration of a few sites, geographies, products or customers.
