Boeing Brazil is seeking Systems Engineering Manager, reporting to the Systems Senior Manager, working out of the São José Dos Campos office.
The Systems Engineering Manager is a key component that enables stronger integration and engineering that will help us advance our quality, performance and affordability. These positions will develop and enhance our Systems Engineering functional excellence. They will also have a role in transforming systems engineering across our design environments on our commercial airplane programs. Aspects of these positions will give you a unique experience that supports any future engineering role and will allow you to be a key leader in the Systems Engineering space.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads Systems Engineering teams supporting development assurance processes, architecture development and integration, requirements definition, verification and validation.Acquires resources for functional activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvement efforts.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Interacts frequently and forges strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational partnerships with internal and external management and senior-level representatives, stakeholders, peers, partners and teammates to execute work statement, reduce project risk, resolve challenges, improve processes and achieve goals.Develops and executes project and process plans; implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.Provides on-going developmental feedback. Promotes employee recognition and builds a departmental culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.Ensures engineering team is properly sized with right skills to perform dynamic statement of work, through hiring, loaned labor, and building relationships with international business partners.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.Must have a degree in Engineering.Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes and practicesExperience in leading and mentoring large engineering teams.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Demonstrated leadership experience with airplane systems development and FAA certification.Senior level of experience in the development, integration, and verification. Experience working within a regulated industry.Relocation:
