Job Duties Under general direction, assists in the development of total system design solutions that balance cost, schedule, performance and risk. Involved in the development and tracking of technical information needed for decision making as well as verification that technical solutions satisfy customer requirements. Assists in the development of systems that can be produced economically and supported throughout the life cycle. Assists in the development and monitoring of internal and external interface compatibility of the system and subsystems using an open systems approach. Helps to establish baselines and configuration control. Learns and utilizes project management skills in the organization and execution of project assigment as necessary. Also helps to provide proper focus and structure for system and major sub- system level design Integrated Product Teams.
