**The Opportunity:**
The Department of Defense (DoD) is implementing a strategic shift toward fully integrated, multidomain operations (MDO) to maintain decision superiority, operational agility, and technological overmatch in contested environments. To this end, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) contract seeks to advance technologies and modernize capabilities to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration. COBRA provides a broad range of services for the advancement of integrated communications, networking, and SoS technologies within the DoD and its interagency mission partner.
One of the programs supported by COBRA is the U.S. Marine Corps Executive Communications Program and Senior Leader Communications System (HQMC Comms). HQMC Comms is the technical executive arm of the Presidential Policy Directive 40 requirements supporting Marine Corps and Naval Senior Leaders. This work and associated efforts facilitate capabilities that keep those designated individuals engaged with C5ISR capabilities to keep the nation ready for the next challenge.
CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Marine Corps Executive Communications Program and Senior Leader Communications System. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced communication systems used by USMC senior leadership.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Design and architect robust, secure communication systems for USMC executive leadership
+ Integrate various technologies including voice, video, data, and mobile communications into cohesive solutions
+ Ensure high availability and reliability of mission-critical communication systems
+ Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans
+ Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain strong security measures
+ Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain optimal performance
+ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
+ Conduct regular system audits and performance optimizations
+ Liaise with vendors and partners to implement new technologies and resolve complex issues
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation
**Travel Flexibility:**
The selected candidate will be required to perform work at various locations, including Quantico, Pentagon, and Washington Naval Yard. The role demands flexibility and the ability to travel between these sites as needed to fulfill job responsibilities effectively.
**Qualifications:**
_Required_ :
+ Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred
+ 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 5 years focusing on complex communication systems
+ Expert knowledge of network architectures, protocols, and emerging communication technologies
+ Experience with military grade communication systems and security protocols
+ Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
+ Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, or MCSE
+ Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$98,500-$206,800
