This position requires a candidate with strong problem solving, technical writing, and communication skills that can perform systems engineering tasking covering imagery/geospatial intelligence (IMINT/GEOINT), systems analysis related to targeting, weaponeering, mission planning systems/software, and interfaces management across the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) community.
You have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 2 years of professional experience, a master’s degree with little to no experience, or equivalent experience/combined education.
You possess an active DoD Secret clearance and are eligible to be submitted for SCI sponsorship.
The Work:
We are in search of an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Engineering Professional, you will perform analysis of external system interfaces, developing and maintaining Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), and other associated tasks.
You will be asked to perform a limited amount of travel in support of these efforts.
The work location will be in Valley Forge, PA with ability to work virtually on occasion.
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Experience performing Systems Engineering tasks
- DoD Secret Security Clearance with ability to gain TS/SCI clearance upon hire
- Working knowledge of imagery and geospatial intelligence systems (GEOINT or IMINT)
Desired Skills:
- USN (United States Navy) domain experience
- Familiarity with intelligence community imagery, geospatial products, and data formats
- Working knowledge of DoD target planning and associated systems
- TS/SCI Clearance
- Willingness for occasional foreign and domestic travel
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
