 GDIT is seeking a skilled Scrum Master Systems Engineer with strong expertise as a SAFe Agile Scrum Master to coordinate and facilitate collaboration among four geographically dispersed teams supporting a classified program. The teams are focused on diverse but interdependent tasks. This role requires a dynamic leader who can foster Agile best practices, drive cross-team communication, and ensure the teams deliver integrated mission solutions efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the SAFe Agile Scrum Master for multiple distributed teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) across teams.Support and coach teams on Agile principles and SAFe framework implementation to improve productivity, collaboration, and delivery outcomes.Facilitate cross-team dependencies, synchronization, and communication to ensure alignment across the teams working on cross domain solutions (CDS), messaging and reporting, signals development, dashboards development, and DevSecOps tasks.Collaborate with Product Owners, System Architects, and Engineering Leads to maintain and prioritize backlogs that reflect mission needs and integration requirements.Identify and resolve impediments, risks, and blockers impacting team progress or cross-team collaboration.Track and communicate program and team-level metrics, progress, and risks to leadership and stakeholders.Coordinate with geographically diverse teams across multiple time zones to ensure continuous collaboration and transparency.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting feedback loops, inspecting and adapting processes, and encouraging innovation.Support compliance with IC security and operational policies while enabling Agile delivery in classified environments.Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning events and ensure integration of team outputs aligns with program objectives.Mentor and guide team members on Agile best practices and effective collaboration in multi-disciplinary and multi-location environments.

Required Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearanceBachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field  (or equivalent experience).8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, preferably supporting DoD or IC programs.Strong knowledge of SAFe Agile Framework and experience facilitating Agile ceremonies at team and program levels.Experience working with geographically distributed teams, managing cross-team dependencies, and fostering collaboration.Background in systems engineering, software development, or related technical disciplines supporting complex, classified government projects.Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to bridge diverse teams and technical domains.Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus among stakeholders.Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or VersionOne.Experience supporting teams working on multi-domain projects, including CDS, signal processing, device development, or waveform engineering is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.Prior experience in Intelligence Community or DoD environments.Knowledge of secure development practices and compliance requirements in classified environments.Experience with DevSecOps or CI/CD pipelines.Strong technical aptitude to understand team tasks and challenges in CDS, waveform, device, and signal processing domains.
