As an Associate Systems Engineer, you will begin building your expertise in system reliability and maintainability by supporting key components and suppliers on the F-35 platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in modeling, prediction, analysis, and system optimization while making meaningful contributions to aircraft performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the analysis, tracking, and sustainment of mechanical and electrical components within the F-35 program.

- Develop foundational skills in Reliability & Maintainability (R&M), including system modeling, performance prediction, and reliability growth tracking.

- Analyze contractor and supplier requirements and help establish performance goals and thresholds.

- Interpret field data and generate meaningful performance metrics to evaluate component and system health.

- Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders.

- Assist in the development of concise, data-driven presentations using graphs, charts, written reports, and visual tools to communicate findings.

- Collaborate with external organizations to ensure accurate and complete R&M representation across program areas.

Basic Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited college in Engineering discipline.

Experience with Microsoft Office
Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge and experience with aircraft
maintainers and aircraft maintenance
procedures.

- Knowledge and experience with aircraft
maintenance documentation.

- Ability to work with multiple teams to
build consensus in process implementation and
problem resolution.

- Learn how to and become capable of gathering and analyzing data and to accomplish complex tasks.

- Effective communication skills and ability to
present technical information to a broad set of
internal and external stakeholders

- Basic Knowledge/Understanding of Systems
Engineering Principles is also desired.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
