Systems Engineer
Job Title: Systems EngineerJob Description

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing an organization’s information systems to meet business needs. This role involves gathering and evaluating user requirements, identifying system solutions, and improving existing processes. You will work closely with both technical teams and end-users to ensure systems function efficiently, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system upgrades. A key focus of the role is to bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and enhancing overall system performance.

ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and design information systems to align with business needs.Gather and evaluate user requirements to identify system solutions.Improve existing processes to enhance system performance.Collaborate with technical teams and end-users for efficient system functionality.Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.Bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions.
Essential SkillsProficiency in systems engineering.Experience as a system administrator.Knowledge of manufacturing systems admin support.Experience in system development.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the automotive industry, preferably in a Tier 1 supplier.Knowledge of automotive quality standards, including IATF, ISO, and APQP.
Work Environment

The work environment is in a manufacturing setting, where you will be required to work on the floor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Shelbyville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
