About your next Challenge as a Systems Engineer:

What will you do:

Design and update equipment used for the control of naval platformsDefine hardware configurations based on customer signal listsCoordinate with various software and hardware teamsReview electrical and mechanical drawings for naval equipment Prepare and perform test procedures for procured and designed equipmentInterperet customer specifications to develop traceable system requirementsReview customer documentation of ship systems including the propulsion, electrical, auxiliary, and damage control systemsManage obsolescence to support in-service programsParticipate in internal and external meetings regarding interface between ship systems and the control system

Required Skills and Experiences:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 2-3 years experienceDemonstrate interpersonal and team work skillsExcellent communication skillsDemonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skillsBillingual (French and English);Proficient English writing skills. The English language, other than the French language, is required due to contractual requirementsKnowledge of military or industrial environmental qualification standards and specifications

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
