We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. As a premier undersea acoustics engineering and manufacturing company, we are focused on supplying advanced SONAR solutions for the US Navy. ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze requirements to develop technical specifications.Manage requirements, ensuring compliance traceability and verification.Develop algorithms and performance models using MATLAB to support system concept and design definition.Engage in systems design and definition activities.Present findings and solutions to customers and senior leadership.Essential SkillsMaster’s degree in electrical engineering or a bachelor’s degree in EE plus 5 years of experience as a systems engineer.Excellent analytical skills.Experience in developing computer-based performance models in MATLAB.Strong oral and written communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualificationsmust be eligible to pass a drug testAbility to obtain a DoD security clearance.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
