Location: Can based from Templecombe or Crawley

Hybrid working with some travel between Templecombe and Crawley

As a Systems Engineer in Flight Avionics, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team focused on the development and delivery of products and programmes to a wide variety of customers in the military aerospace domain. This could include;

The development of our next generation Tactical Mission Management System or cockpit display and navigation systems for military helicopter platforms


Key responsibilities:

Analyse and understand customer needs through advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes
Formalise specifications and architecture used to propose the best solution / product to your clients
Prepare and carry out integration, verification and validation tests
Define test plans and procedures for system level testing
Ensure the technical integration and coherence of the system design, interfaces, and performances.
Design the architecture of the command and control system
Demonstrate the solution to the customer

Right for this role?

You have a proven experience in Software and/or Hardware, Systems Engineering and IVVQ activitiesAn understanding of System Engineering and System Engineering Processes and Practices, including knowledge of Systems LifecyclesExperience of requirements capture and management (e.g. in DOORS), or experience of system architectural modelling is preferred but not essentialMilitary Aerospace domain knowledge is welcomed but not essentialYou want to update your expertise continuously and design innovative solutions to fit your customers’ needsYou want to strengthen your expertise in one of the following areas: conception, requirement management, development, test, integration or validationYou want to solve complex problems and be plunged into a challenging environmentA recognised team player and enjoy collaborative workYou are a mentor willing to share knowledge
