This candidate will perform functional analysis of a system to ensure it meets performance criteria and mission constraints and to feed the analysis results back to the subsystem development teams. Seeking an engineering generalist with knowledge in several different engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical and aerospace. Other job duties may include:
Formulates, recommends, and directs operations and procedures to resolve engineering and/or technical problems regarding operations, staffing, and equipment utilization on a specific project or projects.Provides technical assistance and instruction relative to design problems and the resolution of construction or operating difficulties. Conducts special studies and investigations related to project activities and recommends changes as appropriate to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet changed or new requirements.Analyzes project requirements and provides information and instruction for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, designing, and modifying equipment as appropriate.Experience managing team of technical personnelStrong communication skills are required- work closely with the customer, assigning orders to team members, up channel information to leadershipRequired Qualifications:
Active DoD clearance requiredBachelors in technical field (engineering) required10+ years of experienceSCN experience required
Detailed knowledge of the RBC coreDetailed knowledge of antenna systems used across the networkExtensive troubleshooting on RBC core and multiple antenna systemsKnowledge of digital signal processingKnowledge of RF to IPTest experience
VCRMs to ensure testing satisfies requirementsFamiliarity with automated test scripts: writing and runningRF testingRBC console testingRBC LRU testingRBC systems testingBasic Compensation:
$130-160kThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
