Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Systems Engineer IV in Nashville, TN. Summary: We're looking to add a handful of high-impact operations engineers to our team. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to develop, monitor and innovate cost-effective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems. Your projects vary across building type and Line of Business, adding a vital contribution to the end to end Ops engineering lifecycle. You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. This role requires 50% regional travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Relocation assistance may be provided. Responsibilities: * Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations * Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time * Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors * Effective communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions * Travel Requirements: 50%
