We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Test Engineer with over 8 years of experience in systems engineering principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing test procedures and executing test scripts to evaluate system performance.
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical direction and requirement transparency across development teamsPerforming requirements management including requirements creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, compliance matrices, etc.Decomposing system requirements and collaborating with multi-disciplined, distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutionsSupporting the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilitiesParticipating in the development and execution of program milestones events such as Customer meetings, internal and formal Government testing events, and discrepancy report (DR) review boardsConducting testing events of software solutions and generating test result documentationEssential SkillsBachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, IT or related engineering fieldAt least 3 years of professional experience working in software development or systems engineeringEffective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team, fast paced environmentAbility to develop requirementsAbility to develop test procedures that verify requirementsAbility to develop tracings between requirements, code, and verificationWorking knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development MethodologyActive Secret U.S. Government Security ClearanceWork Environment
This is a hybrid role based in either Colorado Springs or Denver Metro. The company offers a small-company feel with opportunities for professional growth and development. The team is expanding, adding new members across both offices. The work environment supports innovation and collaboration, with a focus on maintaining a balance between software and hardware capabilities.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $64.00/hr.
