Systems Engineer
Job Title: Systems EngineerJob Description We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support a premier FAA customer on the GPS Single Signal program. This role involves analyzing and developing logistics needs for navigation systems, including ground segments, space segments, and radio frequency links. Responsibilities + Analyze and develop logistics needs for navigation systems, focusing on ground segments, space segments, and radio frequency links. + Participate in engineering studies and analyses for navigation services, providing data, information, databases, and other products. + Review documents to identify conflicting design requirements and ensure effective coordination. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field. + 5-10 years of professional experience supporting FAA, Aviation, or NAS. + Experience with Waterfall Model documents. + Expertise in reviewing Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in systems engineering, life cycle logistics, and documentation review. Work Environment The position is based onsite, requiring 5 days a week following FAA and new administration changes. The team consists of 50 members including Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, Logistics Engineers, and Business Admins. The Systems Engineer Task Team is a small group of 5-8 SEM system engineers providing final approval and test checks on the program. There may be potential travel to FAA in DC or customer site in CA, although this is unlikely. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72.16 - $88.94/hr.
