Infrastructure includes server, storage, data networks, telecommunications, hardware, systems software, data center, information security, and 24x7 operations support for approximately 4,000 employees. \#LI **Meaningful Work From Day One** This position will be responsible for researching, implementing, administering, and maintaining the computer network environment and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware and configurations. Following Brown-Forman’s IT project lifecycle methodology, participate in multiple simultaneous technology infrastructure projects. **What You Can Expect** Architecture&Engineering + Recommend and implement IT solutions that improve operations. + Lead or support multiple infrastructure projects at once using our internal project lifecycle. + Identify process gaps and help build business cases for new technology investments. + Design and evaluate infrastructure for performance, security, and scalability. + Create and maintain documentation: diagrams, specs, test plans, and change controls. + Estimate project costs and assist in prioritizing based on business value. + Align technical solutions to our broader IT strategy and user needs. General Support / Vendor Management + Troubleshoot escalated technical issues across systems and infrastructure. + Work with vendors and partners to support hardware, software, and services. + Collaborate with internal teams to solve problems and ensure service levels are met. + Document procedures for operational support and knowledge sharing. + Provide tier-3 engineering support to help keep systems running smoothly. + Create and maintain system documentation required for running the operational portion of the infrastructure environment. + Collaborate with other strategic teams to resolve problems, and take appropriate corrective action(s) to ensure systems are operating correctly and within established operational and functional SLA’s. + Provide engineering level support of the Brown-Forman infrastructure required to run daily operations. **What You Bring to the Table** + Bachelor's Degree in electronic engineering, mathematics, computer science or related field and/OR 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the field. + Process oriented approach while being innovative, self-starting technology professional, who is able to work under general supervision. + Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills. + Exposure to Windows and/or Linux server administration (full lifecycle). + Proficiency in using Microsoft Active Directory. + Experience in installation and configuration of server hardware. + Understanding of Windows Operating System architecture. + General familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or HyperV. + Experience in software patching and device management (Windows/macOS). + Basic understanding of backup and recovery practices. + Understanding of Disaster Recovery procedures and planning. + Networking basics and collaboration tech (A/V, video conferencing, etc.). + **Exposure to cloud infrastructure** like Azure or GCP. **What Makes You Unique** + Experience with GSuite environment, Linux, backup and recovery solutions, monitoring tools, or automation/scripting. + Certifications in Microsoft, RedHat, VMware, or other infrastructure technologies. + Ability to manage and/or participate in department level projects and assignments with some level of complexity. + **Experience in cloud infrastructure** like Azure or GCP could including, but not limited to infrastructure certifications related to VMWare, RedHat, Pure, MobileIron, Microsoft and/or Cisco. **Who We Are** We believe great people build great brands.
