Their mission is to support clients in transforming their IT infrastructure while optimizing their business operations by leveraging Nutanix's cutting-edge technology.You will report to the Manager of System Engineers, Netherlands, who values open communication and fosters a supportive environment that encourages team input and initiative. The leadership style is characterized by a focus on relationship building and collaboration, offering team members the flexibility to work from home while frequently engaging with customers. There are no specific requirements for how many days the new hire must be in the office, allowing for a hybrid work arrangement that supports both collaboration and individual work preferences.The travel requirements for this role are limited to within the Netherlands, where the new hire will need to visit customer sites. This enables the team to maintain close customer relationships while minimizing extensive travel obligations.Your RoleManage a stack of opportunities in collaboration with the account manager.Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer accounts.Present technical solutions effectively, demonstrating the advantages of Nutanix compared to competitors.Understand and uncover customer pain points; recommend tailored solutions from the Nutanix portfolio. Size, scope, and configure solutions to meet business and technical objectives. Provide customer feedback to drive product innovation and development internally. Partner with sales teams to build compelling account strategies, proposals, and solutions. Take actively part of the account planning from a technical perspective. Lead and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) to show real-world value. Win technical decisions and drive presales success across your territory. Act as the technical opportunity owner — from discovery to closure.  What You Will BringMinimum of 5 years of experience in a similar technical pre-sales role. Excellent communication skills (Dutch & English, verbal & written) and a high-energy presentation style. Proven success in datacenter and cloud technologies: storage, virtualization, automation, hybrid cloud. Technical attitude with hands-on configuration, sizing, and solutioning expertise. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform is a advantage.Strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities within accounts.Experience presenting and defending solutions to C-level executives, architects, and IT leaders.  Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, including lead architects.Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.Familiarity with Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, and technology stack of the team.
