Systems Analyst II is a mid-level career opportunity. This role in the Connected Customer Group directly impacts our ability to gain new business and to form lasting bonds with our clients by integrating with their supply chain to provide visibility to inventory in transit.
Systems Analysts in the Connected Customer Group implement EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integrations for Expeditors' customers and third parties. This consists of analyzing client EDI specifications, analyzing business requirements describing how they will provide data, understanding how that information will be used in the context of our business and proprietary systems, collaborating with clients and third parties, and distilling it into a mapping document used by developers to create the code that translates the data. Systems Analysts also create and execute project test plans and write appropriate project-related reference material for end users and account team members.
This is a fast-paced, collaborative, and multi-faceted position that requires you to be able to manage and drive multiple projects in multiple states.
Successful Systems Analysts are strong in the following skill sets: business analysis, project management, technical acumen, communication (both written and verbal), organization and team collaboration.
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
