The Systems Analyst I analyzes how well software, hardware, and the wider IT system fits the business needs of Shamrock Foods or of a client. They will write requirements for new systems and may also help implement them and monitor their effectiveness.

Essential Duties: 

\n\nImplements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems, designing and testing standards and solutions. \nDefines application problem by conferring with clients, evaluating procedures and processes. \nDevelops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions. \nControls solutions by establishing specifications and coordinating production with programmers. \nValidates results by testing programs. \nEnsures operation by training client personnel and providing support. \nProvides references by writing documentation. \nInvolved in Level I on-call support.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

Qualifications: 

\n\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or 1-2 years of equivalent experience. \nBasic SQL and data analysis skills.\nProblem solving skills.\nWritten and verbal communication skills.\nHigh attention to detail.\nMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.\n\n
