Systems Analyst - EDI Support 

 

Your Task & Responsibilities:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Systems Analyst to join our Consumer Health – Product Supply & Order to Cash organization. The ideal candidate will focus on supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) activities and troubleshooting systems within the order to cash, customer service, and product supply operations. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data exchange, enhance system performance, and resolve issues efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

EDI Support:Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI transactions and processes to ensure timely and accurate data exchange between trading partners, especially with focus on customer transactions like orders, order confirmation, invoices, advance shipping notification.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design, implement and maintain EDI standards and protocols, helping the EDI Manager in his activitiesSystem Troubleshooting:Analyze and resolve issues related to order to cash processes, customer service systems, and product supply operations.Conduct root cause analysis to identify system errors and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Check and monitor customer facing systems (like BillTrust, Digital Payment, HighRadius or Self-service ordering) and ensure a good experience and minimize the company impact in case of issues.

Data Management:Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems by performing regular audits and validations of Order to Cash transactions and related data flows.Work with data management teams to establish data governance and best practices for Order to cash related data, like customer master, trading partners liked with EDI messages or customer related parameters (prices, terms, conditions).Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with IT, finance, sales, and supply chain teams to identify system requirements and enhancements that improve operational efficiency.Provide training and support to end-users on Order to cash processes and systems.

Partner with cross functional teams and 3rd party provides to ensure that EDI transactions are exchanged correctly between processes (internal and external).

Work with the IT support teams to solve specific issues, by being a liaison between the business processes/users and the technical teams.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive documentation of EDI processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.Generate reports and dashboards to track EDI performance metrics and system issues.

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on EDI and order to cash processes.Familiarity with EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) and EDI mapping tools.Technical Skills:Proficiency in data analysis and troubleshooting methodologies.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and customer service platforms.Knowledge of SQL and data manipulation techniques is a plus.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with supply chain management systems and processes.Understanding of business processes related to order management, customer service, and product supply.SAP migrations, SAP S/4HANA implementation
