Systems Analyst 3
CTG is seeking to fill a Systems Analyst 3 opening for our client in Texas. Location: Austin, TX Duties: Lead user research initiatives and journey mapping to gain deep insights into user interactions and identify opportunities for optimization. Proven UX Design Experience: Extensive portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping (low and high-fidelity), and usability testing. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies in accordance with established accessibility guidelines and branding standards. Collaborate with Code for America and cross-functional teams to apply industry best practices in UI/UX design. Engage in discovery workshops, feedback sessions, and sprint planning to ensure that design decisions are aligned with business objectives. Employ a comprehensive suite of tools—including Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Hotjar—and implement usability testing, responsive design, and SEO optimization strategies. Experience with AI/ML Interfaces: Demonstrated experience designing user interfaces for systems that incorporate Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning, with a focus on explainable AI (XAI) and human-AI interaction principles. Complex System Design: Ability to understand and design for complex business logic and regulatory requirements, particularly in domains like government services, healthcare, or finance. Data Visualization: Skill in presenting complex data and AI insights in a clear, concise, and understandable visual format. Empathy and User Advocacy: Deep commitment to understanding user needs and advocating for user-centered design principles. Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present design solutions to stakeholders. Understanding of Accessibility Standards: Knowledge of WCAG and other accessibility guidelines to ensure inclusive design. Bonus: Experience with eligibility determination systems or similar rule-based, data-intensive applications. Required Skills: Hands-on experience designing user interfaces and experiences for enterprise systems, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, translating business needs into intuitive design solutions that align with accessibility and branding standards. Experience applying UX design principles such as hierarchy, contrast, and alignment to create responsive and accessible web and mobile interfaces. Experience creating wireframes and prototypes that support agile development cycles, including sketch-to-visual fidelity transitions. Preferred Skills: Experience designing graphical diagrams and visual narratives to communicate timelines, workflows, and system architecture. Demonstrated ability to facilitate design workshops and feedback sessions with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort. Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
