Position Overview:

The systems analyst will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating business requirements, consulting with personnel from various departments and identifying areas for technical solutions development and business process improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with key stakeholders from the Domain, Application owners, Data stewards, Analytics, Legal, Compliance and IT areas to identify scope and understand key requirementsPerform complex application implementations using latest techniques and technologies which includes AWS Services, RDBMSs, Postgres, APIs and querying languages etc.Review the existing platform by capturing requirements on areas of improvement while collaborating with the development team in determining the implementation of enhancementsWork with DBA and Data Modeler to design and implement changes for application engagements to facilitate the archive and purge of non-compliant dataReview, design and prepare applications/system specifications for Information Systems solutions which address business needs and methods for testing and implementationAbility to interpret, analyze and report on in-depth data analysisShould be open to learning new tools/technologies and adapt based on Project requirements Ability to take ownership on assigned tasks and report progress to senior-level leadershipAbility to work as part of a self-organizing team in a highly Agile environment

Qualifications

Required Skills:

A passion for healthcare and the potential for technology to improve peoples' lives.Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to facilitate group discussions.The aptitude to deliver enterprise and/or platform systems and solutions in a variety of scenarios.Experience in distilling complex ideas into an implementation plan, and then delivering it outThe ability to critically evaluate the trade-offs and implementation impacts of emerging vs. more established technologies.Experience in JAD sessions with business users, and help formulating technical/business requirements.

Required Experience & Education:

8-11 years of healthcare experience solving business problems or needs through the application of data analytics approach.9+ years’ experience working with various RDBMS which can include DB2, Oracle, SQL Server etc.Ability to build intermediate to complex queries, leveraging common query languages (SQL, HQL etc)Knowledge of AWS Services (Cloud Technology) at a foundational levelExperience in testing, debugging and solution designing.Experience with hosting requirement gathering sessions and ability to articulate the sameAbility to function in a Production Support like environment is a plus
