**Responsibilities**
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy **IT Intern** to join our team for the summer. This is a great opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment. You’ll assist with day-to-day technical support, help maintain IT systems, and contribute to ongoing projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provide first-level technical support to staff (hardware, software, and network issues)
+ Support IT team in maintaining inventory and documentation
+ Help with system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance
+ Participate in cybersecurity awareness and compliance initiatives
+ Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes (account setup, equipment provisioning)
+ Contribute to IT projects such as cloud migration, automation, or data cleanup
**Qualifications**
+ Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
+ Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS environments
+ Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
+ Superb communication and interpersonal skills
+ Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
+ **Preferred Skills (Not Required)**
+ Experience with Azure and Active Directory
+ Knowledge of identity management
+ Exposure to ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Easy Vista)

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $43,680 - $46,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
