Belay Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to support and be a part of our intel team. The candidate will provide software development, test support, system administration and program management support. Cloud Engineers lead work to define implementation approaches and plans to ensure optimum cloud performance and reliability across the servers, networks, and related utilities and hardware that comprise the cloud infrastructure. They conduct analysis and make reliable engineering recommendations to ensure six sigma reliability/resiliency of the cloud infrastructure. They monitor and report on cloud utilization and plan continuous process improvement.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

TS/SCI with polygraph is required.Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Senior Level includes:​​​​​

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.

Senior-level or higher experience in working government or industry leading or supporting cloud- based systems engineering efforts.

One or more Cloud Certifications, but are not limited to the following:

AWS Certified

Cisco Certified Networking Administrator – Cloud o Cisco Certified Network Professional – Cloud

IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect

MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure

VMware Certified Professional (VCP7-CMA)

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

Experienced with Linux, Windows, VMWareComfort with creating network diagramsStrong documentation skillsSupport the development of Service Now Workflows, deploy Service Now into the client environmentDemonstrated experience with monitoring mission critical applications in a cloud environment or HPC environmentDemonstrated experience with reporting and tracking related mission critical applications deployed on a large cloud or HPC ClustersExperience with container orchestration technologies such as Swarm, Helm, KubernetesExperience writing scripts using Bash/PythonExperience with using the Unix command lineExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Experience with Configuration Management, including versioning and automated tools such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, and AnsibleExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerSenior Levels include:Supports applying a systematic, engineering approach to the design, architecting, requirements elicitation, development, operation and use of cloud technologies and platforms for mission solutions.Leverages software-, platform- and infrastructure- as-a-service to deliver GEOINT solutions.Ensures optimum efficiencies for the utilization of cloud services.Guides the work of Senior-, Mid- and Junior-level contractor Cloud Engineers.

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
