Your Role:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our global team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing system-level requirements, maintaining specifications, and serving as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience with requirements management tools and processes in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and manage system-level requirementsMaintain requirements databases, including importing/exporting data and creating associated metricsDevelop and maintain scripts and tools to support requirements managementCreate and update technical specifications and documentationProvide expert knowledge and support for series productionServe as customer interface and collaborate with production facilities, suppliers, and service providersWork within interdisciplinary global project teams across purchasing, systems, hardware/software, quality, sales, laboratory, and manufacturingDevelop product/functional solutions independently within given frameworksEvaluate draft solutions considering functional, material, manufacturing, and economic aspectsCreate and monitor schedules in coordination with internal/external interfacesMaintain regular customer communication regarding OPL and new technologiesCreate and present technical presentations to customersImplement constructive investigations into function, arrangement, and designPerform requirements engineering according to V-model methodologyAnalyze and optimize existing products and functions based on customer requirementsCoordinate measurements, trials, and function testsDefine materials and manufacturing processesYour background:
Degree in mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable professional experienceExperience with requirements databases such as DOORS or Polarion, including script developmentProficiency with E-CAD tools, Mentor, Matlab, SPICE V3, and requirements management toolsStrong knowledge of requirements management processes according to SPICE, CMMI, or Agile methodologiesUnderstanding of automotive industry production processes preferredFluency in German and English, both spoken and writtenProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsWillingness to travel globallyValid driver's licenseStrong teamwork and communication skillsAdaptability to changing situationsWhy join us?
