System Analyst - EDI Support
What you’ll do:

Job Summary:

Eaton’s Corporate IT team is seeking a System Analyst – EDI Support to join our Enterprise Performance Management Value Stream Organization. This role is essential in supporting and enhancing our global B2B EDI infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. 


Job Responsibilities – EDI Support System Analyst

Provide translation and technical support for all EDI processes and systems.
Act as the primary contact for Oracle R12 and Sterling Integrator (SI) related support requests.
Analyze support issues to identify root causes and collaborate with enterprise teams for resolution.
Monitor EDI error directories and emails; take corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.
Perform EDI map modifications and set up new trading partners as needed.
Troubleshoot EDI-related issues in Oracle R12 modules such as RLM, EC Gateway, and Order Management.
Develop and maintain EDI support documentation and standard operating procedures.
Ensure the integrity and stability of EDI environments across platforms.
Collaborate with internal technical teams and build strong cross-functional relationships.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the EDI support function.
Manage onboarding and implementation of EDI services for new and existing trading partners.
Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external trading partners to optimize EDI usage.
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with partner requirements.

 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as: B.E / BTech / MCA / Equivalent or B.Sc
2 to 6 years of Oracle R12 and EDI related functional experience

Skills:

Must Have Skills 
Strong understanding of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT)
Expereince working on one of the EDI platforms 
Experience with Oracle R12 modules - Order Management (OM), eCommerce Gateway and Release Management (RLM)

Nice to Have Skills 
SQL skills, Sterling B2B Integrator
Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain and present technical concepts
Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences
Good judgment, time management, and decision-making skills
Ability to work colaboratively accross different product teams
Patience and empathy when working with developers and testers
Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams"
