Focus on enhancing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Cerner’s world class enterprise-wide Revenue Management information system (Oracle Health Patient Accounting) which provides financing of care in the acute and ambulatory environments & used by health care provider revenue cycle management personnel. The Soarian Revenue Cycle solution is made up of several modules: Revenue Management, Patient Access / registration, Scheduling / appointment management.
Responsibilities:
As a Systems Analyst 3, you will enhance, monitor, and support the Oracle Revenue Management (OHPAC) solution. You will perform ongoing troubleshooting, enhancements to the application, ensuring the solution is fully optimized and operational. You will respond to enhancement requests from users and then manage, build, and implement changes to enhance & optimize the client’s financial solutions through industry change control processes. Your end goal is to meet and exceed client contractual obligations related to incidents and enhancements to the client’s solution. We are looking for versatile and innovative individuals with a willingness to learn, along with a technical background supported by experience or education in information technologies and or Health Care Administration.
Additionally, act as a focal point resource for the team and represent the team at key internal or client meetings planned or whenever necessary.
Work involves problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for performing troubleshooting investigations by gathering information, using troubleshooting tools, shadowing end users, and testing workflows internally and externally. In addition, you will prioritize work based on severity and urgency, balancing client and business needs. You will collaborate among and across teams to ensure issues are addressed by the appropriate individuals, document notes, activities, resolutions, and other knowledge articles throughout the lifecycle of an investigation. This client-facing role is contractually committed to delivering support services to our AMS clients.
This role is responsible for performing solution-related service request investigation, incident resolution, and application maintenance (implement configuration changes) on the most complex issues. In addition to working on most complex issues, mentoring, knowledge leader, and training team members is a basic expectation for this role.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of combined education and relevant work experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with US Healthcare, specifically in revenue cycle management workflows Experience with SQL Experience with JAVA Previous customer service experience Experience with IT troubleshooting and code diagnostics 5-6 years of Software Implementation/support work experience Desired experience with Healthcare Revenue Management systems.Expectations:
