Job summary

As a Linux Administrator, you are seen by the members of your team to be not only a pillar of strength but a source of motivation and inspiration as well. You should be someone whom is savvy with Linux Operating System and have worked with development teams to help them build up the infrastructure. You have prior managing system experience before you adopted DevOps as this experience would allow you to quickly understand the needs of stability, safety for a cloud or hybrid platforms. You should expect the role to be part of a global effort to support our customers on their IT. You should be someone who is passionate about automating, trouble-shooting, robustness and reliability, trouble-shooting network and system configuration, monitor and manage systems.

Work in an Agile Team as an active member able to manage all the systems problem of cloud or hybrid infrastructure.

Linux Platform administration, system update.

Linux Monitor platforms and act anticipatively.

Required competencies/experience:

Installation, Configuration, Upgrading, Monitoring & Maintenance of Linux environments (RedHat/CentOS, Ubuntu, and others).

Setup of networking, firewall, SSL, DNS and LAMP stack on Linux.

Troubleshooting problems with the operating system, and the LAMP stack.

Deploying, Configuring and maintaining Linux servers in AWS infrastructure (EC2, ELB, EFS, Route53, RDS)

Configuring Scripting languages (PHP, Python, Node) for running web applications.

Incident Management - responding to alerts & notifications, root cause analysis and reporting

Requested (Nice to have ) competencies / experience

Target : experience in L2/L3 support on large information systems.

Experience with SSH,

Sound networking fundamentals. Should have experience on performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems.

Experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx), databases (MySQL, Mongo Db, Postgres).

Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues.

Experience with ticketing/task management solution.

Strong skills with bare metal server provisioning with manual configurations.

Ability to understand, implement design considerations such as scalability, performance, redundancy, backup and automation. • AWS certification will be an added advantage. • Understanding of AWS, DevOps, Git, CI/CD.

Behavioral skills:

Ability to work with different departments on the projects assigned.

Proactive and self-motivated. Ability to independently look for solutions.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and flexible hours.

Ability to work in late evening or night shift on rotation.

Advanced English knowledge, a conventional level in French would be appreciated,

Sense of responsibility and customer-oriented attitude

Good communication skills,

Has a continuous learning mindset and learning of new paradigms, techniques & practices in build-test-release cycles and software automation.

Mobility :

Could travel sometimes to (Timisoara or France) depending on the project requirements
