We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic System Administrator to join our team.
Summary of This Role
As a System Administrator you will play a pivotal role in driving technical service requests, while maintaining our business as usual operations to sustain day to day functionality of our EDPS infrastructure. We’re looking for someone passionate about problem solving, collaborating across multiple teams to support our business objectives and deliver high quality services.
About the role
Actively supporting our business as usual operations - Working to support our internal teams through a variety of activities including vulnerability management, certificate management, patching, service requests.
Work closely with our operations and engineering teams to ensure seamless deployments of projects while ensuring ongoing availability and reliability
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by introducing new technologies and practices
Participate in our on-call rota acting as a member of the issue, incident and problem resolution team for high availability, high throughput, secure online payment services
Other duties as assigned

Who You Are
You will have:
Strong working knowledge of Linux System Administration
Proven experience with multiple technologies both from the traditional SDDC world and the cloud such as VMware, Elastic Stack and cloud providers (GCP, Azure).
4+ years of relevant experience
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience with server and storage hardware technologies
Excellent scripting skills in at least one of the following: Bash, Python, Powershell, Ruby
Highly motivated individual with drive to self improve - You will be given opportunities to learn new technologies and gain certifications where relevant
Excellent command of the Greek/ English language (both written and verbally)
What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities?
Experience configuring and working working with monitoring tools such as logicmonitor / elasticsearch
Experience with technologies such as F5 Load Balancers, NGINX, HAProxy, OpenNMS or SNMPv3
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terrafrom)
Working knowledge of Ansible, Terraform
Certifications in cloud technologies or linux / windows administration
Experience in a restricted highly regulated environment (PCI)
Experience working in an Agile environment
