The Opportunity:

CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives. 

 

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Systems Administrator, SME. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partner Atlantic Resolve North (ARN) located OCONUS in Poznan, Poland. This position is required to travel OCONUS.  This position is located OCONUS. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Supports installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades, including cloud-based systems 

Provides support and tech expertise in systems technology, including virtual hardware and cloud capabilities  

Manages network and systems configurations to improve performance and maintain compliance with cybersecurity ATO requirements 

Maintains network Active Directories (ADs), file servers, and print servers 

Assesses and supports testing of proposed configuration changes and documents configuration changes 

Ensures configurations enable automated updating (e.g., System Center Configuration Manager) 

Administers and maintains virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) 

Ensures system backups, recovery, and storage provisioning are adequate to support Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans 

Supports COOP and DR reviews and exercises, including developing plans or scenarios, and implements changes identified and approved as a result of exercises 

Performs routine audits of operating systems, servers, and applications 

Supports forensic audits and provides reports or resolutions for incidents 

Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues, including system outages  

Monitors response times, evaluating user satisfaction levels and making recommendations for system improvements 

Interfaces with vendors/Government/technical staff on technical solutions, system implementation, optimization, and ongoing management 

Participates and contributes to discussions and evaluations of new technologies 

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments 

Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives 

Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge 

Mentors less-experienced personnel and may supervise others  

 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility 

BA/BS + 13 years  

Certification – 8140 - FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP 

Displays comprehensive expertise in operating system management and network administration, with particular emphasis on cloud-based systems and virtual environments.  

Possesses expert knowledge of system configurations, cybersecurity compliance, and performance optimization techniques across complex IT infrastructures.  

Exhibits strategic expertise in managing active directories, file servers, and virtualization platforms such as VMware, ensuring robust system backups and storage provisioning for continuity of operations and disaster recovery.  

Excels in troubleshooting and resolving advanced system hardware, software, and networking issues, including forensic audits and incident resolution.  

Commands proficiency in evaluating user satisfaction levels and implementing system improvements to enhance performance.  

Displays leadership qualities through mentoring junior staff, interfacing with vendors and technical teams, and functioning as a technical expert across multiple high-impact projects.  

Demonstrates ability to establish goals, develop project plans, and contribute to technology evaluations, while possessing domain and expert technical knowledge in systems administration.  

 

Desired:  

Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs 

Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards 

Experience with DoD IT security requirements

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,800 - $199,100
