System Integration/Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Integration/Test Engineer to plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems. The role involves synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints. You will establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.

ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and/or system-level evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance.Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify and validate incorporated fixes to software components, subsystems, and systems.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional level experience.Experience using Microsoft Office products for generating status reports, project plans, and work instructions.Proficiency in writing, editing, and supporting existing software code bases using LabVIEW and/or Test Stand software.Experience in analyzing and resolving problems.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience working effectively in teams.Ability to work independently with minimal detailed direction.Additional Skills & QualificationsA minimum of 9 years of professional level career experience is preferred.Proven success in implementing methods to measure electrical parameters for components and subassemblies.Subject matter expertise in Radio Frequency or Microwave systems and subsystems.Success in developing complex test programs with NI LabVIEW and/or Test Stand development environments.Track record of researching and specifying components for test equipment design.Ability to troubleshoot measurement issues and isolate problems to the test instrument, fixturing, software level, or unit under test.Proficiency in generating assembly and block diagram sketches, parts lists, and engineering documentation.Experience in Corrective/Preventative action process and implementation.Solid background in deriving test requirements from design or system-level requirements.Skill in identifying and authoring required documentation to correct drawing to actual hardware discrepancies.Proven collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.Effective relationship-building across multiple organizations and disciplines.Experience in preparing charts and presentations outlining technical issues, solutions, or trade studies.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $79.04 - $79.04/hr.
