Overview
A System Architect provides full lifecycle technology support to the business and acts as the senior technical leader on teams.
The role acts as a key bridge between multiple external and internal stakeholders, setting a solution direction and parameters for delivering against.
You will typically be involved in multiple different aspects of a customer lifecycle and the IGT solution deployed, sometimes in parallel across multiple sites. Being able to manage these activities, stakeholders, and customer engagement is a key factor in what makes a System Architect successful.
Working alongside Product Architects and Product Managers you will help IGT identify the right features to build and the best way to deliver them to our customers.
System Architecture provides leadership in the following three key areas of our customer lifecycle.
• Pre-Sales Support – provide leadership, business understanding and technical expertise to facilitate alignment on a full solution regardless of proposed scope. Lead the technical activities through proposal development, solution costing, and delivery planning.
• Systems Delivery – be the owner of the complete solution for customers, providing inputs to the process (technical strategy, gap analysis) and collaborating with teams through the process (product architecture, product management, infrastructure, training).
• Account Management Support – act as the go-to person for post-sales customer and account teams in roadmap planning, critical problem solving and architecture solutioning.
