SWR (Special Work Request) Administrator/Reviewer Process Technician

Micron is seeking a thorough SWR Administrator/Reviewer to join our Technology Development team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and improving our SWR business processes, ensuring that SWR execution delivers consistent and reliable engineering experiments. Your responsibilities involve resolving software issues, testing software improvements, and ensuring an efficient approval process for SWR’s.

Responsibilities

Complete all required safety training and conduct work in accordance with safety policiesIdentifies inefficiencies and works on resolving them through business process changes, training, or system enhancementsUsing the SWR system, review experiments for correct setup and approve and attach experiments to run in the Fab ensuring compliance to business processApply skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Excel) to efficiently complete tasksCommunicate effectively in both written and verbal forms to ensure clear and concise information exchange.Manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and organizational goals.Follow basic procedures and work independently with minimal supervision to maintain productivity and quality standardsPrimarily work in an office-based computer workstationCreate, monitor, and report on metrics around the SWR Business Process and Fab Tracking interaction, to provide data to management and stakeholdersIdentify training opportunities within the SWR business process and design, implement, and evaluate effective solutions to bridge knowledge gaps and champion continuous improvement.Proactively identify system improvement opportunities, collaborating across teams to implement solutions that streamline workflows and elevate process outcomesCoordinate with SWR User Interface (UI) Subject Matter Experts (SME) to troubleshoot complex SWR-related issues, including defect and enhancement cases, providing timely resolutions and feedbackPartner with the Technical Documentation and Workforce Development (TDWD) team to ensure the online SWR Writing class stays current, relevant, and aligned with standard processesMaintain training reference materials to support user learning and adoption of best practicesMentor new and experienced SWR writers, providing guidance, protocols, and feedback to help them excel in their roles and support overall team success

Minimum Requirements

AAS or AS Degree and / or STEM related degree; or equivalent, trade school or military training experienceAbility to work an 8- or 10-hour day shift as needed and to be on call for after hours overtime support as needed

Preferred Qualifications

2 years working with experiments applying the SWR systemExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technical, operational, and IT partners.1+ years of Tableau report building experience
