What you will be doing:
As a Strategic Workforce Planning Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of workforce planning tools and processes that align organisational talent strategy with business objectives.
This role works closely with the People Function, technology, and business leaders and is pivotal role in helping Rolls-Royce anticipate and address workforce challenges, ensuring we have the right people, with the right skills, at the right time to achieve our strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will be:
Lead the creation and deployment of in-house strategic workforce planning tools and frameworks.Collaborate with People Function/Global Business Services and technology teams to deliver successful project outcomes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Develop standardized methodologies and templates for workforce planning based on best practices and prior projects.Analyse workforce data to identify trends, critical gaps, and future talent requirements.Conduct scenario planning, capacity planning, and forecasting to anticipate workforce needs.Provide insights into workforce drivers, demographic shifts, and policy developments affecting talent availability and cost.Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, communicating key findings and recommendations.Support the development of repeatable, scalable workforce planning processes and ensure continuous improvement.Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather requirements and drive engagement.Monitor and report on workforce planning metrics, KPIs, and progress against strategic goals.Who we’re looking for:

Proven experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or related fields.Proficiency with workforce management software and planning tools.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.Capacity planning and scenario modelling expertise.Knowledge of macro-economic and human capital trends impacting workforce planning.Persistent, adaptable, accountable and outcome focussedQualifications:
