GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintain, manage, and process all aspects of the switcher rental business. Provide administrative & managerial support by preparing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, filing documents and processing customer accounts. Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual establishments.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining rental equipment on site and over the road. This includes taking calls and setting up service on rental units out of state or within the area if necessary. Building relationships with vendors out of state that can work on and maintain our equipment on customer's sites while being rented. Ensuring PM services are completed on every rental unit in 500-hour intervals and keeping log of those services Ensuring the GPS devices are installed and active on every rental unit as well as keeping track of the location of each unit.Creating rental contracts and invoicing all rental customers at the end of every month. This will include creating a rental agreement to send to the designated site manager to sign and return.Scheduling and moving rental units to the customer's site using our drivers or an outside wrecker service.Monitoring and following up on pre rental/post rental check ins at our shop. This includes taking pictures of the unit pre and post rental as well as charging the customer back for damage or wear caused during the rental.Creating new units in the system when new units are purchased or acquired.Maintaining all rental information and keeping it up to date. ( ex: ESN, frame #, VIN #, etc. )Keeping the customers informed when a unit is down or needs to be serviced. Constant communication with the customers on their rental units. Answering any questions the customer may have regarding the unit or the rental bill.During the off season when rentals have returned to our shop - reaching out to customers to inquire if a rental switcher is needed and setting up a new contract.Working with other FleetPride locations where rental units will be domiciled to ensure check ins and repairs are completed as well as assisting with future rental opportunities for that location.Responsible for developing business for the switcher rental business unit.Responsible for increasing utilization and decrease repair costs per rental unit.Reviews monthly P&L to determine ways to better increase utilization and costs associated to repairs of the rental units.EDUCATION & TRAINING
