We are seeking an experienced Test Lead specializing in Warehouse Automation systems. Candidate should have strong background in software testing within Warehouse automation domain, preferably with site testing experience.
Key Responsibility
Test Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for Warehouse automation systems, encompassing both software and controls.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of quality assurance.
Test planning and execution: Develop detailed test plans, including functional, integration, system and regression tests. Oversee the execution of these tests to ensure system reliability.
Defect Management: Identify, document and track defects using standardized tools and processes.
Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Work closely with cross functional teams, including software developers, project managers and clients to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Continuous improvement: Continuously assess and improve testing processes, tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related fieldOverall 8+ Years of experienceStrong understanding of the warehouse automation or logistics domainHands on experience in WES/WMS/WCS, software and controls integration in automated systemsHands on experience at site in performing software end to end testing, system testing or commissioning.Sound knowledge in industry-standard software Quality Assurance methodologies, Software Testing, tools and processesExperience in using test management tools like TestRailExperience in bug/issue tracking tool like JIRA Experience with Git or other distributed version control systems Experience in working on Windows and Linux Operating SystemsEstimate requirements based on analysis and prepare high level scenarios and test plansCollaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with onsite testing and commissioningGood to haveMinimum 2 to 3 years of experience in automation testing using Java Selenium, TestNG framework.Experience in backend, API testing and web services such as REST and SOAPExperience in CI/CD Software Quality Assurance Certifications
