Job Description• Hands on experience with Java and Kafka
• Experience in implementing architecture and design patterns
• Experience with Spring, hibernate and RDBMS technologies like PostgreSQL, Oracle
• Experience with web service standards and related patterns (REST, JSON)
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools
• Experience with Agile development incorporating TDD, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, JUnit, Mock frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear & concise way, a team player with a strong work ethic
• Responsible, self-directed, forward thinker, and operates with focus, discipline and minimal supervision.
• Experience working in Agile environments to work in a fast-paced environment where iterative changes may need to go out in rapid succession.
• Knowledge of web services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, REST, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication and documentation skills.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications
•1+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
•1 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
