Job Description

This role shapes the future of our Sales Enablement function. As well as influence business development techniques and/or opportunities working alongside our sales leaders and field marketing team.

You and Your Job

 As a Sales Operations Manager you'll be successful by keeping our Sector Papers relevant, developing and consolidating account planning activities, developing a framework to improve sales process management and establishing and monitoring Sales Key Performance Indicators. Develop relationships with our senior leaders to aid to adoption of process, tools and sales behaviors.

The role is responsible for overseeing all sales operations related activities, including leadership of the Sector Papers, development and consolidation of account planning activities, development of framework to improve sales process management, development and communication of the Rural strategy, establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators, and recommending to senior leadership changes in process / strategy based on insights derived from ongoing monitoring of progress. This includes accountability for fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders within the US and Canada operations of the Bank.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the Field Marketing Team in the development and implementation of marketing plans, in coordination with business leaders, to maximize the financial and strategic value of lead generation campaigns. This includes developing segment strategies; planning, organizing, attending and/or hosting events; and incorporating key activities across business lines like Input Finance, Insurance, Markets, Operations and Risk.

Develop the framework for and lead sales management calls; develop tools to monitor and report on sales pipeline for internal and external stakeholders. (Senior Leadership, Operations, Treasury, etc)

Work with Rural leadership and Management Reporting Team to define, monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators for business development teams.

Lead development and maintenance of Sector Papers. These groups will drive product development and process improvement activities to achieve financial and market objectives.

Develop processes, materials, and support tools to develop, monitor and consolidate regional / sector Account plans, aligned with Rural strategy and Sector Papers.

Bachelor’s degree

8+ Years experience in a sales/marketing role.

Processes information logically and is able to use the result in appropriate business applications to meet the requirements of the job.

Makes sound business decisions; understands and achieves performance goals.

Reliably organizes work; works effectively and efficiently, prioritizes work and anticipates business need. Manages multiple projects simultaneously with good results.

Exhibits high quality, accurate and professional writing and documents that demonstrates excellent persuasive writing, including correct spelling and grammar, best practices in English business writing, and adherence to AP Style where required. In conversation: dialogue that is clearly expressed, well organized and persuasive, and successfully conveys key organizational messages, priorities, values and supports Rabo AgriFinance reputation and brand position.

Demonstrates high level of cooperation with other members of the Marketing Communication team, RAF senior management, other RAF employees and other Rabobank employees in the region and globally.

Is responsive to RAF needs and aimed at fulfilling business and organizational priorities. Provides willing and active levels of effort to support the team’s goals and the Bank’s needs, often by taking the initiative to forward the Bank’s messages.

Demonstrates ability to plan and organize each situation to accomplish pre-defined goals. Able to handle multiple tasks, rapid request and urgent needs/crises and to strategize with other members of the communications team and management to effectively contain/resolve any reputational or situational issues and to convey RAF messages and position accurately.

Marketing activities for RAF, including brand development and communication, lead generation marketing and internal communications are strategically sound and supported by key RAF leadership.

Supports customer lead generation to support Relationship Management Teams’ sales efforts.

Responsibly manages RAF Marketing expenditures appropriately and to budget.

Supports RAF in building a solid and performance-oriented RAF Marketing Team; including being a part of the team and leading key initiatives to support RAF Marketing efforts.

Ability to travel regionally up to 35%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
