The Head of Transaction Services Columbus is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to process orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities:

Direct oversight of the Transaction Control, OTC Valuations and Voluntary Corporate Actions teams in Columbus, reporting into the Global Head of Transaction Services.Serve as an analytical and procedural expert across the services in scope while supporting a wide range of internal and external clientsManage complex and variable process issues, liaise with multiple teams and departments on varying matters, define problems, develop innovative solutions, streamline processes and lead change-the-bank settlement projectsClosely follow trends in the industry, identify cost savings opportunities and build effective relationships with clients and key stakeholdersIncrease productivity and efficiencies by presenting data and analyzing validates to develop added solutions and oversee the integrity of process, operations and end resultsAssist with overseeing the risk control environment, compliance efforts to follow policies and procedures and keep abreast of Citi's operational processes and best practices in business strategyDevelop a strong team culture creating opportunities for collaboration and communication and supporting talent across all levels.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

10+ years of relevant experience, particularly regarding OTC Derivative ValuationsSenior to advanced level experience in a related role with commensurate experience in people management preferredExperience in management with Banking and Financial Institutions preferredDemonstrated success coordinating with senior leadership and in managing othersProven ability to manage various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environmentEffective project management and negotiation skillsConsistently demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferred
