SVP, Head of PRS Marketing and Customer Experience

The Opportunity

Personal Risk Services (PRS) is seeking a strategic and innovative Head of Marketing & Client Experience who will lead, develop and execute PRS’ marketing strategy across a range of key stakeholders: clients, prospects, distribution partners (e.g., independent agents and brokers, affinity partners and non-traditional distribution), influencers and employees across North America. The Role

The Head of Marketing & Client Experience is a vital member of the PRS leadership team and is responsible for driving a creative strategic narrative for PRS to drive a competitive advantage. This leader – a strategic and action-oriented business leader and savvy marketing expert – will be charged with establishing a high-performing MarComms function that aligns with PRS’ strategy and goals. The successful candidate will drive advertising, media relations, digital marketing, content, sponsorships, distribution-aimed campaigns, entertainment, and events while working in tandem with Chubb’s North America Chief Marketing Officer and MarComms Centers of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Create and drive a strategic, integrated MarComms plan that is aligned with PRS’ goals and growth objectives and delivers measurable outcomes. This includes identifying and leveraging opportunities to build our brand and enhance our reputation, driving business success by creating awareness and generating marketing leads; building credibility and awareness for PRS subject matter experts (SMEs), its leaders, and products/services; managing integrated earned, owned and paid media strategies; driving stakeholder engagement across all targeted audiences and influencers; and helping the function’s capabilities for future growth. Focus on developing PRS’ MarComms platform – strategically aligned, innovative and leading edge Design and execute  the development of successful marketing campaigns with robust content and points of view, targeting specific business growth goals – geographic, by product line, and for existing client retention Build research-driven client personas to ensure a comprehensive understanding of target market, client expectations and product needs Manage and maximize market research and reporting Drive targeted marketing strategies to specific client segments across stakeholder groups of clients, agents, brokers and influencers and oversee a client database (CRM) Drive creative prospecting efforts with a focus on multi-channel lead generation Identify and effectively leverage data and analytics to drive prospecting and sales. Maintain and refine metrics and process improvements across the customer journey Build a world-class team with varied and future-state skills and competencies to accomplish PRS’ strategic marketing goals. Drive strong team engagement and a culture of creativity, accountability and results Maintain strong collaborative relationships within PRS and across other Chubb business lines to share best practices, achieve shared strategic goals and execute the integrated MarComms strategy of PRS Manage North America PRS marketing budget and ROI on spend Work closely with Chubb’s Global Brand team to refine brand and value propositions Manage communication strategies with employees and distribution partners ensuring high engagement and soliciting story-telling and results sharing

Competencies

The successful candidate for this highly visible leadership role must possess an impeccable marketing background in leadership roles with a proven track record in the execution of short-to-medium range marketing programs. They will have experience working in either diversified financial services or insurance companies (property and casualty and/or life insurance) or will have extensive experience with HNW clients in consumer goods or services industries. They will have deep expertise with distribution networks (agencies, brokerages) and experience mining relationships with third-party networks for co-marketing and branding opportunities. The executive must have familiarity and know how in digital marketing techniques which can be leveraged to increase product sales and business flow from multiple channels as well as improve the overall client experience. This person should also have experience with grass-roots marketing and events that reach prospects and clients on a 1:1 and local level.

The successful candidate must possess outstanding leadership skills including strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative style, and the ability to perform in a demanding and matrixed environment. Key personal qualifications will include:

Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA in business, marketing or marketing management preferredMinimum of 15 years of experience in Marketing and a track record of notable successes, particularly in the HNW and UHNW spaceUnderstanding of insurance channel strategies including strategic partnerships, existing client marketing, digital, customer service and sales and retentionHighly disciplined, yet creative and driven leader capable of developing and executing a strategic vision and planAbility to drive positive change and translate a vision into actionable, quantitative plans; set clear and measurable performance objectives; and monitor progress rigorously while linking action to business prioritiesHands-on management style and strong work ethic to include being a self-motivated and resourceful marketing leader able to drive results as well as coach othersDemonstrated ability to successfully identify, recruit and develop current and future leaders with the ability to inspire both direct and indirect reportsEntrepreneurial mindset and the passion for expanding businesses through compelling marketing strategiesEffective interpersonal skills including the necessary stature, poise and presence to quickly develop credibility and establish solid partnerships inside and outside the corporationExcellent written and verbal communication skills

The pay range for the role is $280,000 to $315,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
