Sustainment Specialist – DoD

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Sustainment Specialist to support our client’s operation near Bowling Green, VA. This is a long-term contract (contract to hire) position and a great opportunity to work on a high-profile government project.

The Sustainment Specialist is responsible for providing sustainment management system (SMS) support, data management. This role requires proficiency in BUILDER SMS, GFEBS, and other government-mandated systems to ensure accurate building assessments, inventory updates, and condition reporting. The specialist will serve as a critical resource for maintaining the Army’s real property data, supporting work planning, and ensuring compliance with established standards and guides.

Qualifications:
1+ year experience with BUILDER SMS, GFEBS, or similar sustainment management/government systems preferred. High School Diploma or Equivalent Must have and maintain a favorable National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) at time of the contract start date and for the life of the contract. Knowledge of building systems and facility management processes. Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage and update technical data. Proficiency in generating reports and conducting database-driven analysis. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with DPW staff and stakeholders. Must be able to use government-furnished equipment for documentation and data entry. Must comply with all standards, policies, and guidelines regarding data and inventory management.
