Position Overview:
ITW CCNA is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Manager to support current and future products and manage the testing laboratory/facility. In this role, the Sustaining Engineering Manager will be responsible for driving and supporting current product initiatives such as supplier/material qualifications, product cost reductions, and on-going quality verification. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing the Lake Forest test laboratory which includes driving a culture of safety, scheduling and executing testing, and improving lab efficiencies.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans for current-product support initiatives including, but not limited to, new material and/or process qualification and validation of product performance due to supplier change and/or cost reduction efforts. Product testing should be in accordance with ASTM, ICC, UL, or other applicable standards.Drive and execute on-going product quality verification.Utilize lab resources to support CBI development.Drive lab maintenance (PM, calibrations, etc.) and identify and drive lab efficiency, and testing accuracy improvements.Drive Safety Culture and expectations of Lake Forest team (lab organization, ppe, applicable JSA, safety reviews)Develop/refine Lab SOPs for product testing and operating equipmentJob Requirements:
B.S Engineering Degree3 years related testing experience with ITW CCNA Anchoring/Fastening and/or competitive productsHigh degree of technical acumenAbility to define, drive, and execute projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to influence and coordinate teams without direct supervisionKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint,); Knowledge of SolidworksHands-on Construction Industry experience and knowledge is a plusCompetencies:

Position requires approximately 25% travel and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Compensation Information:
$110,000- $135,000
