Sustainable Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Sustainable Procurement Specialist to join us and drive the integration of sustainability into our global procurement operations. At Endress+Hauser Group Services in Reinach, Switzerland, we support the wider Endress+Hauser network with cross-functional services including procurement, compliance, and sustainability – helping our global teams to align with shared values and regulatory demands.

You’ll join our Procurement team in Group Services – the corporate hub that enables consistency and innovation across our global structure. In this role, you will partner closely with Procurement, Legal, Risk Management and Sustainability colleagues to build a responsible, transparent, and legally sound supply chain.

 

Which tasks will you perform? 

You will: 

Consolidate sustainability reporting and measures within procurement, ensuring transparency and alignment with corporate ESG objectives Support local and global sustainability goal achievement by integrating ESG criteria into procurement strategies and supplier engagement Conduct and report on procurement compliance surveys, including adherence to national and international regulations (e.g., LkSG, VSoTr, NTA, EUDR, CSRD, CSDDD) Ensure stringent legal compliance at group level in the context of ESG-related procurement activities Lead global projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Sustainability, Risk Management) to proactively identify and mitigate ESG-related risks in the supply chain

 

What do we expect from you? 

You: 

Hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Sustainability Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Legal, or a related field Have +5 years of experience in procurement, sustainability, compliance, or a related field, with a proven track record in managing or supporting ESG-related initiatives Bring strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting standards (e.g., CSRD), and supply chain due diligence laws (e.g., LkSG, EUDR, CSDDD) Are comfortable with sustainability data and reporting platforms and have experience with procurement tools such as Prewave, EcoVadis, or SAP Have excellent project management, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills in international and cross-functional settings Possess strong analytical and reporting capabilities and can translate regulatory texts into clear procurement actions
