**Core Responsibilities**
+ **Lead the Strategic Direction:** Shape and steer sustainable packaging initiatives that align with our environmental objectives and long-term vision, fostering a culture of sustainability across all levels of the organization.
+ **Drive Innovative Design:** Champion the development of pioneering sustainable packaging designs and materials, prioritizing the reduction of environmental impact while ensuring product quality, safety, and consumer satisfaction.
+ **Technical Development:** Lead the technical development and thorough testing of solutions, including prototyping, material testing, and performance validation, to guarantee durability, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
+ **Ensure Operational Excellence:** Optimize the operational performance of new packaging solutions by integrating sustainable innovations into existing manufacturing and supply chain processes, promoting efficiency and waste reduction.
+ **Implement Continuous Improvement:** Advocate for continuous improvement practices in packaging operations, using data analytics and feedback loops to enhance performance and sustainability metrics across all initiatives.
+ **Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Build strong partnerships with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, product management, and external partners to ensure alignment and alliance in all sustainable packaging efforts.
+ **Maintain Technical Documentation:** Develop and uphold comprehensive technical documentation and test protocols, ensuring that all packaging developments adhere to standards.
+ **Monitor Industry Trends:** Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, actively seeing opportunities for innovation and enhancement of sustainable packaging practices that reflect our commitment to sustainability.
+ **Track and Report critical metrics:** Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainable packaging, using data insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous performance improvements.

Collaborating with R&D, Procurement, Production, and Sustainability teams, we integrate eco-friendly practices throughout the packaging lifecycle, focusing on enhancing manufacturing productivity and efficiency.

It’s about pushing boundaries to create packaging that not only protects our iconic products but also protects the planet—taking sustainability in manufacturing performance to heights not yet seen, bringing creativity, efficiency, and operational excellence together to build a better future.
**Do you have what it takes?**
+ A strong technical foundation in packaging engineering, materials science, or a related field, with proven experience in sustainable packaging development and manufacturing, including testing and validation of new materials and processes.
+ Demonstrated leadership in driving technical innovation and operational performance improvements within high-volume manufacturing environments.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Experience with advanced packaging technologies, including biodegradable and recyclable options, as well as supplier management to build and maintain key relationships.
+ In-depth knowledge of sustainable materials, packaging technologies, and environmental regulations, particularly within consumer goods or related industries.
+ Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide multi-functional teams while fostering collaboration with external partners.
+ Effective communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing across all organizational levels.
+ A proactive approach that challenges existing paradigms and continuously seeks innovative solutions.
+ Able to travel 30-40% of time internationally to collaborate with global teams and partners.
+ A collaborative approach, thriving in team settings and valuing diverse perspectives.
