We are now recruiting for the new role of Procurement Sustainability Program Manager in Madrid, Spain!

 

Your purpose –

 

You will own the implementation of all assigned sustainability programs for Swedish Match and its affiliates while collaborating closely with your peer Sustainability Procurement Program Managers to develop business-relevant strategies and ensure alignment in tools and processes.

 

Your day-to-day –

 

Program Development: Actively contribute to the development of sustainability programs and deployment strategies for Swedish Match and its affiliates.Data and Metrics: Ensure data robustness and clear metrics for each deployment strategy, aligned with the Program Manager, Compliance Manager, and Reporting Manager.Engagement Activities: Drive engagement activities to raise awareness of procurement sustainability goals. Support the preparation of training and communication materials for procurement teams and suppliers.Digital Collaboration: Work closely with the digital team to identify sustainability procurement needs and build joint solutions for program delivery and reporting.Holistic View: Collaborate within the S&PD team to build a holistic view of programs and initiatives, including stakeholder engagements.Process Definition: Support the Sustainability Process and Compliance Manager in defining processes and procedures to meet regulatory and reporting needs.Risk Management: Work closely with the Program Manager on risk identification and mitigation strategies for relevant programs.Data Validation: Perform data validation as required, ensuring supplier data quality.

 

 

Who we’re looking for -

 

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business Administration, Procurement/Supply Chain, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in sustainability program management, supply chain management, or procurement.Knowledge of procurement or supply chain operations and ESG-related topics.Strong interest in sustainability and a desire to contribute to environmental and ethical goals.Strong analytical and organizational skills for data tracking and sustainability assessments.Experience in environmental/social audits, carbon accounting, and human rights due diligence.Effective communication skills to engage with internal teams and suppliers.Proficiency in MS Office.
