Sustainability Analyst
Description We are looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate from anywhere while contributing to impactful sustainability initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will analyze large datasets, manage sustainability data, and support efforts to improve environmental performance. Responsibilities: • Analyze and interpret large datasets related to sustainability metrics, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. • Manage sustainability data by organizing, validating, and maintaining records. • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends and insights that support sustainability goals. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and request required data for reporting purposes. • Assist in obtaining financial approvals for sustainability-related initiatives. • Support the development and execution of sustainability programs aimed at reducing environmental impact. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI to create reports and visualizations for effective communication. • Monitor and track progress on sustainability initiatives, providing regular updates to the team. • Ensure adherence to sustainability standards and practices while maintaining attention to detail. • Work independently while remaining open to feedback and collaboration. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in sustainability or data analysis. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Power BI. • Strong understanding of sustainability concepts such as water conservation, carbon footprint, ecosystems, and waste management. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage large datasets. • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and organization. • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with an approachable and feedback-oriented attitude. • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. • Preferred but not required: Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
