Description Key Responsibilities: + Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes and necessary supplies. + Ensure all equipment is functional and properly sterilized before procedure. + Assist the surgical team during operations, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field. + Count sponges, needles and intruments before and after procedures to ensure accuracy. + Handle specimens in an appropriate fashion. + Help transfer patients to and from the operating room. + Clean and restock the OR following surgeries. + Comply with infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
