Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve. *More about our team* Very busy Operating Room – General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology. ** *How you’ll contribute* A Surgical Tech - ORwho excels in this role: * Assemble supplies and equipment for the procedure. * Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments for the procedure. * Perform accounting procedures in concert with the RN circulator. * Assist with placement of sterile drapes. * Provide instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure. * Maintain an organized sterile field. Ensure sterility of the field and take corrective actions as needed. * Prepare sterile dressing. * Label and provide medications/fluids as per policy/procedure. * Anticipate need for supplies and ask for them to be brought to room. * Protect patient from injury related to improper equipment use or handling (Ie. Electrode placement in holster after each use, etc.). * Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas. * Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients. * Assess set up and supplies to make sure you have everything you need from the start of the procedure. *Why join us* We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
